 *School started! Boys hopped on the bus and haven't looked back! They all LOVE their teachers and are enjoying Dieringer Heights Elementary. Colin has Mr. Steiner, my old teacher :), Brannon has Ms. Pries, Evrett has Mrs. Stober and goes part time. He was SO mad that he couldn't go everyday. Such a huge relief for me.

 

 *The kids here are all into Pokeman cards. Colin and Brannon didn't have any but within a week of school my little wheeler and dealer had scored this huge pile by starting with a few given to him and trading for more and better cards.

  *The boys did the Sumner High school football camp over the summer and were invited back for their first home game. They got to run onto the field with the players.

*We did the Puyallup! Well, the Washington State fair as it's called now. Ate tons of crap, spent tons of money and rode some fun rides. Kids had a blast.

*Cody's current obsession are brooms. I had to order him a kid one because he wanted to carry our real broom everywhere. He loves it so much he won't let go of it to eat.

*We had to say goodbye to the lake but the kids are having fun watching it drain. We even found Colin's glasses and Brannon's goggles that were  lost after accidentally jumping off the diving board wearing them

*Brannon picked me a rose

*Mr. Destructo

*Mr. Destructo found a fun toy and good hiding place to store his stolen toothbrush

*Mad that mom is going to the bathroom without him.

 *another obsession. The oven mit.

 *We've had so much fun with the Aunts and Uncles!

Cody is WALKING! And other fun things

And man alive he is so much happier because of it! He feels just like the big boys now and wants to do everything they do...running around all over the place.

Cody took his first steps in the beginning of July....right at 14 months. We were at scout camp waiting for the boys to finish and he was being held by another dad. He looked at Ben and just took a couple steps straight towards him.

But it wasn't until two weeks ago, friday Aug 29th, that you decided you wanted to walk. You just woke up and tried walking everywhere...getting right back up after falling. Within a day or two you were zooming everywhere!

Your favorite place to take off to outside is Uncle Sams garden. Your favorite new game is to chase or be chased around the arm chair. You run circles, laughing the whole time, face planting every once in a while because of it, and can keep this all up for...well the longest we played was 20 minutes, but you could have kept going. I had to stop because my knees were carpet burned.

You also are probably the worlds youngest Star Wars Fan as you added the name "Yoda" to your growing list of vocab a week or so ago. It sounds more like "doda" but you are meaning yoda and say it whenever you see him.

The other morning I heard you saying "Mmmmmm    mmmmmm" and found you in the pantry scooping your spoon into the white sugar bag and eating the deliciousness you found. you were not happy when i put it away. MMMMMmmmm! It was so yummy mom!

You also stop to smell flowers whenever we are outside. You scrunch your little face up and breath in and out super fast. Cutest thing ever.

Just a few randoms about my 16 month old never sits still, demanding but very lovable Cody Bear.
