Little Funnies

May 2013: With mom being distracted with the new baby, Evrett enjoyed his new FREEDOM. There were a couple mornings he woke up and went outside to play without telling anyone. I'd either find him out there when I got up or saw evidence that he had been out there. When I sat him down to talk to him about how it isn't safe he responded "Mom, I can take care of myself."

June 2013:   Brannon: "Evrett, STOP Hitting me!!!"
                   Evrett: "Brannon, you are RUINING my life!!"

 June 2013: Evrett: "mom I don't like Cody's name anymore"
                  Me; you don't? What should we name him?
                  Evrett: hmm...I fink (think) Evrett Junior.

June 6, 2013: Evrett "mom, when our baby (cody) grows up and he's a HUMAN, what do you think he will sound like?"


 June 25th 2013: 6.5 weeks old you rolled from your front to you back.

July 2013, 2-3 months old: you laughed for the first time at a pretty young age. You were in a bouncy crib thing and Brannon (your favorite) walked up and started talking and bouncing you at the same time and you laughed and laughed!! It was so so so cute!! I have the tail end of it on video. You get so excited for all your brothers but there is something different and special about your reaction to Brannon. I truly think you were spirit best friends before coming here and he recognizes you.

August 25, 2013: you rolled from your back to your front.

On Sept. 19th 2013,  4 months old:
Evrett climbed in your crib with you and took all your clothes and diaper off while I was in the shower. I was very surprised to find a naked baby waiting for me!

November 6th, 2013, 6 months old:
you had fallen asleep for a late night and woke up  around 8pm, which is getting close to your usual bedtime, so you were kind of sleepy still. I was holding you and Dad was blowing you kisses. You started imitating him and did the cutest lip smackin' kisses we've every seen and heard! We haven't been able to get you to do it since but we loved it! Dad has a video.
