With the new year (2013) we changed up our preschool swap a bit. We decided to ditch the pre-bought/packaged lesson plans that were lame half the time and do our own lessons. Just like I did with the older boys in Philly. We assigned each day a letter & number and the moms could decide what to do from there. Evrett has loved it! Here are some of the fun things we did:
Apples for letter Aa!
We read the book "10 Apples up on Top", made some apple hats (thanks to Tamar's idea) and then made mini apples pies! It was a lot of fun but the kids didn't really like eating the apple pies...the moms loved them though :)
BuBBles for letter Bb!
a bit of dishsoap in water and a straw turns into a hour of fun!
We made homemade lemonade. Put half a lemon into a ziploc bag, add some sugar and water and Squeeze & smash until you have a yummy drink!
