Aw man. What a week. We drove with my parents to Washington State! That's right, a whopping 30 driving hours! Yikes! It actually went better then expected but the craziness started about a week before. I started feeling a sore milk duct. Two days later I started feeling sick, I put Cody down for a evening nap, put Colin in charge of other boys, and took a bath. Ben came home and said I looked like I was dying. I was running a fever. My mom called to check in while she was on her way to the airport to pick my dad up. I told her I wasn't feeling well, probably Mastitis, but that Ben was home so I'd be ok. Well, she felt inspired to drive over after getting my dad to see for herself and when she got here she immediately loaded the boys up, threw some stuff we'd need in garbage bags and tooks us all back to her house. She stayed up all night with Cody so I could sleep. I had one nasty case of Mastitis and I swear I was dying. Ben got me on antibiotics but it took a few days to feel better. On day two he called to talk and I was so weak I couldn't even hold the phone up to my ear. It was AWFUL but thank goodness for my parents!! Even my dad kept checking in on me and bringing me water...I have never seen him wait on anyone ever. I must have looked pretty bad. But it suddenly passed and two days later we loaded up for the big drive to Wa for a 6 week stay over the summer. Mom and Dad drove the Saburban with the three big boys while Jess drove the Vibe with me, Cody, and Toby-the dog. She wasn't too happy getting the baby and the dog but they ended up being the best on the whole trip! Evrett got car sick and threw up a few times, the other boys smell bad and probably fought. Mom and dad were so dang wonderful to do all they did for us. They are the best! At one of the rest stops Evrett picked up a decent sized rock and chucked it point blank at the side of the car from only 3 feet away. I held my breath waiting for dad to get mad but he just shrugged and said oh well. I wasn't letting him off that easy, so I took him aside to talk to him and asked why he did it. He looked up very innocently and said "I didn't do it mom. It was my hand people. They did it" So "Papa and Lala" his hand people did it. Such a silly kid
