Basically it was an awesome summer. We were there for almost 5 weeks and spent the days playing outside, going on walks, swimming, playing with grammy and watching movies. Such a nice break from Chicago's summer. Uncle Sam was there, Grandpa worked a lot and did church stuff and we saw megan a couple of times. The boys loved swimming, doing flips off the diving board, playing basketball, going on the waterslide and taking the paddle boat and kayak out all by themselves! Cody was pretty good. Still not a good sleeper but he just slept next to me so it worked. Thinking back on it now, I was barely functioning..definitely just going through the motions and trying to survive all these energy filled kiddos on such little sleep but I can't imagine being in a better place for it then here!
We met up with a couple of my old friends from High school. Jessica Miller (Stoker now) and Shelbs
and their cute kiddos
The annual ward salmon bake was a lot of fun. The boys made friends with another LDS kid that lived just down the road so they had so much fun with him.
Evret made friends with a little boy in the ward named Cameron.
And we got to see the Hartmann side a lot too!!
I ran into an old friend who was visiting family that happens to be in Johnson's ward. Emily and I were friends back in the youth dance days.
Evrett found a teeny tiny little snail
