Evrett & Prayers

Evrett is almost 5 and has taken a hit these last months as I've been dealing with wonderfully cute but very demanding Cody. He isn't in preschool so the poor kid gets really bored and frustrated sometimes. Especially since this winter has a been hard one. We've gone 9 straight weeks buried in snow with the majority of the days temps lingering around the single digits. But he deals with it all so well and is such a sweet kid. Lately he has been wanting to say our prayers and they are the best kid prayers ever. He goes on for a good couple times saying everything we are thankful for: our house, eachother, the grass, the trees, that Haylee is having a girl baby and a boy baby, all our stuff, Jesus, Heavenly Father, his toys, our car, etc. He is so proud of himself when he finishes. It is so gratifitying watching your kids grow up and learn. Not long ago he refused to even try a prayer and if he did he'd just say "I dont' know, help me" and suddenly he is his own little man. Love him so much!!
