Ben was swinging on our make shift swing on the laundry poll when the poll broke in half, landed him on his bum and came crashing down on the back of his head. He had a good 2.5" gash split open right on the back of his head so off we went to the ER. He was pretty irritated about having to go and then finally admitted he hated getting shots! hahaha :) I shouldn't laugh but it was kind of funny seeing him on the other end of health care :)
Since he was a resident the ER docs sent him home with a tool to have one of his co workers take his staples out so he wouldn't have to go back to the hospital (we go to a different hospital than he works at when we need things) but one night Ben decided he wanted the staples out and didn't want to wait until the next morning. He tried to get me and Colin to take them out but I was grossed out and Colin didn't want to. Brannon said "Sure!", hopped up and popped them all out with no problems at all!
