With just a couple weeks left before this baby comes I've been trying to have some good one on one time with Evrett. I always get really sad after having a baby that things will never be the same between me and my previous "baby"....like my form of baby blues.
So even though I was dead tired and had a ton of housework to do I took him to playgroup where he ran crazy with a group of his friends. They were so cute playing
We've been playing a lot of games and doing puzzles...a couple of his favorite things to do! Oh, and eating brownies too :)
At 39 weeks I had an itch to do some last minute shopping for some things. He loves to run errands and when we walked into the mall he very sweetly and politely asked with so much hope if we could eat lunch at the mall too! So I said...YES! which doesn't happen often with me and eating out. He picked Chinese food and loved it. Then just because I took us through the Mcdonalds drive thru for a Oreo Mcflurry to share. He as in heaven :)
I can't even explain how much I have enjoyed these last few years with Evrett as my little buddy every school day while the big boys are gone. I have loved playing with him, going places with him, and teaching his preschool. He is always such a good and willing helper and is just pleasant to be around almost all the time. He is going to make a great big brother!
