Mother's Day 2013

Mother's day this year was very sweet. Brannon's class put on a special presentation for all the moms the friday before. They sang songs and read poems for us and gave us homemade flowers and a potted flower. It was really cute and Brannon was so proud of his work.


 

The next morning Ben and I woke up early to head to the hospital for my scheduled induction!! We were having the baby!! All went well and I wrote about it in another post, but that is why I woke up on Mother's Day in the Hospital! Cody was a almost two days old and we were going to be checking out that day. The food staff brought me in a pretty rose to wish me a happy mother's day and fed me an extra dessert :) Then I held and fed Cody, showered and waited for the nurses and doctors to come do their thing so we could finally go home! My mom, dad, and sister were coming over for dinner to celebrate.And the boys had gone shopping with Ben to get me a few gifts

It's amazing the capacity we have to love these little people our Heavenly Father has sent to us. With each new addition I find I have so much more love. Not just for the new baby but for all the kids. They are wonderful, sweet, little boys who bring me so much joy in my life despite being so messy and wild! :) I love them so much and feel so lucky to be their mom.
