Ben was actually OFF for the fathers & sons campout this year! the boys were SO so SO so SO excited! I took Evrett to a park earlier in the day and he just whined the WHOLE time because all he wanted to do was go home and pack for the camping trip :)

It was kind of a long drive...a couple hours away
Evrett ate a few hotdogs for dinner...he was hungry! and they hand cheetos and cookies. Some nice families shared their smore stuff too.

They didn't go to sleep until almost midnight :)
They all came home in the same clothes they left in :) covered in dirt & cheetos!
I spent the night with two other moms whose husbands and kids were gone. We got hamburgers for dinner and watched a movie while eating a yummy chocolate cupcake from a bakery downtown. Then I got to SLEEP IN!!! I didn't get out of bed until 11:30am!! ahahahah! It is nice to do that every once in a while :) but I sure was excited when they got home.
