memorial weekend

 We spent the weekend out at my parent's house! Ben worked fri, sat, & sun but was post call 6:30am monday morning so he was able to play with us for the day. Grandpa had worked hard to get the pool open for us and the boys couldn't wait!! Jon came almost everyday to swim with us. The boys loved it...espcially his back flips. Grandma was tricked into coming outside when the boys and grandpa were swimming and was attacked by a big water gun that ended up with her losing control of her bladder from the water and laughing so hard. So Colin, if you are reading this years later...you OWE grandma something serious. On memorial day we went to their ward BBQ and got to hangout with the Mclanes (who used to be in our chicago ward but moved to the burbs recently) and the Edmunds (still in our ward but hanging with the Mclanes for the weekend) Then they all came over afterwards to swim in the pool, play volleyball, and eat some yummy ribs dad BBQ for us. It was a lot of fun! We also found out that Amanda and I have the same Great Great Great Grandparents....Hezekiah & Alley Thatcher! Cool huh!

 We drove home that night but didn't get there until really late. This is how I found Evrett the next morning :) He wore himself out!
