oh man, I had a wonderful mothers day this year! I am so lucky :) I woke up to a handsome little 8 year old waiter taking my orders for breakfast. The hottest chef I have ever seen did the cooking :) Then Ben was a ton of extra help getting ready for church and taking care of the kids.
After church Brannon and Evrett gave me a leg rub. It felt great and they sure had fun pumping that lotion out :)
For dinner we ate leftover pizza which I thought was great. No hours of cooking and clean up. It was yummy, easy, & fun. Then we did gifts. The boys had all made me something at school. This is colin's:

Ben didn't buy me anything because I didn't want anything. I have been so preoccupied with whether or not we were moving to AZ and trying to get my dumb knee/hip to heal so I can run again that I honestly couldn't think a of single thing I wanted. I just wanted an answer from AZ and to go for a run :) But Ben still felt bad and kept apologizing all day. But that evening he was able to "get" me something! Since most of our house is decorated with second hand/thrifted stuff I have developed a taste for unique hard to find styles of furniture. I have wanted a retro mid century credenza since we moved almost 2 years ago but anytime I found one in a thrift store they were still too pricey...like $100+! Then 6 months ago while pulling out to go to my parents for the weekend I happened to glance in an open garage a few houses down from us and there in the middle was *my* credneza. It was perfect! (except for the missing top drawer) I called Ben right away and told him to watch for it to end up by their garbage can and if he saw he he just HAD to drag it home for me. He grumbled and complained and said he would try to remember. (he hates second hand stuff). Well they never put it out so I gave up on finding one. Then Sunday after church we pull down our alley and there by their garbage was the table!! I couldn't believe it! So Ben was able to give me this gift by 1. not complain that I was bringing it home and 2. help me drag it down the alley and into our house :) then a few days later he was so nice to help me clean it up and sand it down. I haven't redone it yet, b/c it still stinks like a old person home and I haven't had the time to fix that but when I do it will be amazing! :)
